• It is your reasonability to inform us before booking an appointment if you had or currently have any medical issues.

    We will need to know prior to booking an appointment for a facial treatment, if you are currently using any antibiotic’s, acne creams, tropical or oral medication. Also, please inform us, even if you have used it within the last 6 months.

    We have outlined the medical history in detail on our social media platform under the highlights section. However, if you wish this to be emailed to you, please do get in touch with us and we will ensure we have emailed everything over before booking an appointment.

  • It is vital to inform us of the following prior to your treatment if the following applies to you:

    • Any chronic or serious medical illness; Diabetes, Heart Disease/Angina, Epilepsy or Cancer

    • Autoimmune diseases such as; Psoriasis, Lupus, Rheumatoid, Arthritis or any condition that may weaken your immune system

    • Any oral or topical medication prescribed by a doctor

    • Benzoyl Peroxide, Roaccutane or Accutane

    • Steroids, Anti-Coagulants or Asprin

    • Predisposition to Keloid or Hypertrophic scars

    • Recent facial surgery or aesthetic treatment such as; Rhinoplasty, Facelift, Derma Fillers, PDO Threads, Botulinum Toxin, Aesthetic Dental Work, Tattoos, Piercings, Laser Resurfacing, Laser Hair Removal, Microneedling or Skin Peels

      Patients with the following conditions will not be treated if the following applies:

    • Under 18 years of age

    • Pacemaker or internal defibrillator, neurostimulator or any other internal electric device. Do not use on patients who have had an implant in the past unless you are absolutely certain that the implant and all leads in their entirety have been removed.

    • Metal implants or other implants in the treatment area.

    • Pregnancy, nursing or on the abdomen during menstruation.

    • Current or history of cancer, especially skin cancer, or pre-malignant moles.

    • An impaired immune system due to immunosuppressive diseases such as AIDS and HIV, or the use of immunosuppressive medication.

    • Serve concurrent conditions such as cardiac disorder or epilepsy.

    • Patients whose conditions could be negatively affected by heat. Patients with a history of diseases stimulated by heat such as recurrent Herpes Simplex in the treatment area may be treated only following a prophylactic regime.

    • Patients having a diminished or exaggerated prescription of temperature changes.

    • Patients have areas of sensory impairment such as in case of nerve lesions, and neuropathies.

    • Any activity condition in the treatment area, such as sores, haemorrhages or risk of haemorrhages, septic conditions, psoriasis, eczema and rash as well as excessively/freshly tanned skin.

    • Varicose veins in the treatment area.

    • History of skin disorders such as keloid scarring, abnormal wound healing as well as very dry and fragile skin.

    • Any surgical, invasive, ablative procedure in the treatment area before complete healing.

    • As per practitioners’ discretion, refrain from treating any condition which might make it unsafe for the patient.

  • All facial bookings require a £30 non-refundable deposit. This will be deducted from your total on the day of your appointment.

    Please give 48-72 hour notice to reschedule the appointment to avoid a cancellation fee, anything less than that will lead to losing your deposit.

    • Please ensure you arrive 5 minutes before the appointment. If you are running late please do inform the clinic.

    • If you are late up to 10 minutes, this will cut into your treatment time. If you are later than 10 minutes, your appointment will be cancelled and you will lose your deposit.

    • For new clients, a free 10 minutes consultation is included in your treatment and if you are running late to your appointment it will affect your treatment time.

    • Please do not attend to your facial treatment with makeup on, if you do, there will be an extra £5 charge.

  • •Your appointment will only be rescheduled once, a second request to reschedule your appointment before attending will result in losing your deposit. Please choose a date and time that is suitable for you.

    •On the day cancellation will result in losing your deposit.

    •No shows will prevent you from rebooking an appointment with us.

  • If you have any of the following please inform the clinic before booking your appointment;

    • Eczema

    • Psoriasis

    • Localised Skin Infections

    • Allergy to metal (skin needling)

    • Cancer, Skin Cancer - 12 months post chemotherapy, radiography treatment

    • Keloidal Skin

    • Blood thinners

    • Active cold sore

    • AIDS/HIV/ Hep B/ Hep C

    • Blood clotting disorder

    • Pregnant or Breast Feeding

    • Under 18 years of age

    • Injectables

    • Internal defibrillator

    • Cardiac Disorders or Epilepsy

    • Pre-malignant Moles

    • Varicose Veins

    • Abnormal Wound Healing

    • Hemorrhages or risk of hermorrhages, septic conditions or sores

  • Before receiving facial treatments:

    • You must not have an active cold sore or any contagious disease.

    • You must not use retinol a week before your appointment.

    • You must not have any bacterial or fungal infection including a stye.

    • Do not use any exfoliants or products containing Alpha Hydroxy (AHAS) Beta Hydroxy (BHAS) Acids or Hydroquinone a week before your appointment.

    • Roaccutane medication must not be used for at least a year before having any treatment.

    • Do not have electrolysis or depilatory cremes on the area getting treated.

    • Please let us know, if you had a recent sunburn, wind burn, cuts or skin abrasions.

    • Do inform the clinic if you are using any brightening products for any scarring, acne or spots.

    • Please do not exercise on the day of your treatment.

    • If you are currently using any acne medication or lotion, it is your responsibility to inform the clinic before booking any appointments.

    Please note:
    You should wait 14 days after having botox or fillers before having facial. If you are unsure of anything, please contact the clinic before you book a facial treatment.

  • Following your facial treatment, you must not use a product that abrades the skin for a week, (no scrubbing), nor should you submerge the treated area in a chlorinated pool or hot tub for the next 14 days.

    • Please wash your face with products that are; gentle (acid-free, alcohol-free and perfume-free) for a week. If not, it is also fine to just use water on your skin till it heals.

    • Avoid excessive heat for 3 days post-treatment (e.g. high intense workouts).

    • Avoid sun exposure as much as possible for a minimum amount of 7 days post-treatment. If you must be in the sun, ensure to use SPF 50+. Please re-apply SPF every 2 hours per day. Please ensure to wear a wide-brimmed hat and seek shade when possible.

    • Avoid facial waxing for 7 days.

    • Avoid hot showers and hot baths, lukewarm showers are recommended instead.

    • Avoid Dermal Fillers and Botox/Xeomin for 2-3 weeks.

    • Do not pick, scratch or rub the treated area

    • Do not apply serums as absorption levels will be elevated.

    • You may experience peeling for the first few days depending on the treatment.

    • Slight windburn sensation and/or blotchiness is normal for a few days.

    • Skincare products may tingle or slightly burn for the first 2 days.

    • Makeup may be worn 48 hours after a facial treatment.

    Note: Please do not expect to see major difference with your skin after one treatment. Especially, if you are having a Pevonia facial, which mainly focuses on to refresh and relax the skin.

  • Post-procedure, avoid direct light exposure (sun and solariums) for at least 14 days

    • Do not apply sunscreen for 12 hours after treatment due to the channels of the skin being open for a period of time.

    • Please use the aftercare treatment that will be provided.

    • Do not perform any vigorous activity for at least 12 hours post-treatment.

    • Do not consume caffeine and alcohol for 24 hours.

    • Do not apply makeup for 48 hours. We recommend BB cream for post-use versus other foundations.

    • SkinPen treatment may trigger a cold sore or a breakout. Please expect your skin to be inflamed for 48 hours.

    • Your skin will be red and swollen for 48 hours as well.

    • Gently pat lukewarm water to your face the following morning to help remove dried blood

    • For the first 1-3 days the skin will feel very dry and tight, which is completely normal

    • After 7 days you must exfoliate to get rid of the dead skin cells and the following morning after exfoliating you can return back to normal skincare routine.

    • Avoid alcohol toners for 10-14 days

    • Leave at least 4 weeks between treatment

    • Avoid retinols for a week after your treatment

  • It is compulsory to undertake a patch test at least a week for your appointment. This is for client’s safety as well as the company’s policy.

  • It is important to inform us as soon as you are feeling unwell so we can reschedule your appointment to avoid losing your deposit. Please inform the clinic as soon as you feel unwell to avoid last minute cancellations, which will result in losing your deposit.

    If you turn up to your appointment unwell, you will be turned away and will lose your deposit.
